Privacy Policy
NetManager Systems LLC collects as little as it can. This page says what that is, for netmanager.ai and every app on its subdomains.
Last updated October 21, 2026.
Who we are
NetManager Systems LLC (“we”) runs netmanager.ai and the apps on its subdomains, including the NetManager demo (demo.netmanager.ai), the PCAP Analyzer demo (pcap.netmanager.ai), the NetDiag demo (netdiag.netmanager.ai), the app directory (apps.netmanager.ai) and the sports, fantasy, markets, fishing, weather, surf and game apps listed there. cisconets.com is also ours and has its own privacy policy. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].
If you just browse
- No advertising and no tracking cookies. We don't sell or rent data, and we don't build profiles of visitors.
- Cloudflare: all traffic to our sites passes through Cloudflare, which protects them from attacks and delivers them securely (HTTPS). Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to do that. Some of our apps also count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
- Server logs: our servers record standard request logs (IP address, time, page requested and browser type). We use them only for security and troubleshooting, and they're size-limited, so older entries are deleted automatically as new ones are written.
- Fonts and libraries: some pages load fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from public content networks (cdnjs, unpkg). Your browser requests these directly, so those providers see your IP address, as with any website that uses them.
- Saved in your browser: settings such as light or dark mode, units, favorite locations and game progress are kept in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and aren't sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
If you contact us
The contact form doesn't send anything to our servers. It opens your own email app with your message filled in. When you send it, we receive your name, email address and whatever you wrote, and we use them only to reply and to follow up on your request. We keep business emails as long as they're needed for that and for our records.
If you have an account
Some apps require a sign-in: the NetManager and PCAP Analyzer demos, the NetDiag demo, and the markets, sports and fantasy apps, which are by invitation.
- What's stored: your username (for some accounts, your email address), your password in hashed form (never the password itself), your role, and when you signed in.
- The cookie: signing in sets a session cookie so the app knows it's you. It's strictly necessary, holds no personal details, and ends when you sign out or it expires.
- Demo guest logins: creating a cisconets.com account gives you 7-day read-only logins to the two demos, with your email address as the username. They stop working after 7 days.
- The demos use simulated data. The NetManager demo runs against a fictional company's network, and its connections to outside services (AI, email, directory and cloud controllers) are switched off.
If you upload or connect something
- PCAP Analyzer: packet captures you upload are processed in memory and discarded as soon as the results are returned. They aren't saved.
- NetDiag: logs, output and files you submit are saved with your case on our server so the conversation can continue. They're visible to your account and to the demo's administrators. Don't submit anything confidential.
- Fantasy app and Yahoo: if you choose to link your Yahoo account, Yahoo gives us permission to read your fantasy leagues. We store that permission (an access token) and your league data only to show your leagues in the app. We never post or change anything on Yahoo. You can revoke our access at any time in your Yahoo account settings, and if you email us, we'll delete the stored token and league data. Sleeper leagues are read from Sleeper's public data using the username you enter.
- Markets AI analyst: if you use it, your question and the market data it refers to are sent to Anthropic, which provides the AI model, to produce the answer. Anthropic doesn't use API data to train its models.
- Location searches: when you search for a place in the fishing or weather apps, the place name is sent to an open map-search service (OpenStreetMap Nominatim or Photon) to find its coordinates. Forecasts are fetched from public weather and tide services (such as NOAA and the National Weather Service) for that location, not for you personally.
- Shell Squad multiplayer: the name you choose is shown to the players you join. Players connect directly to each other, so their browsers can see each other's IP addresses, as in most online games. Our server only introduces players to each other (and relays the game when a direct connection is blocked). It groups players on the same network using a scrambled, one-way code made from their IP address, and doesn't keep the address itself.
Who else sees data
Only the services named on this page, each for the purpose described: Cloudflare (delivery and security), Google Fonts and the public content networks (fonts and code libraries), Yahoo and Sleeper (if you link a league), Anthropic (if you use the AI analyst), and the map-search and weather services (if you search for a place). We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We don't sell or share personal information for advertising.
Google services we use
Our internal backup system uses the Google Drive API to store our own encrypted backups in our company Google Drive. It only accesses files it created itself, and it never accesses visitors' Google accounts or data.
How we protect it
Connections are encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Apps run in locked-down containers with the minimum access they need. Backups are encrypted before they leave our server. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect so there's less to protect.
Children
Our sites are meant for adults and aren't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. You can also ask us to close your account. If you're in the EU, UK or California, these are also your legal rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR and CCPA. Email [email protected], and we'll reply within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll ask for your consent first.
